Lessons to learn shuttle tatting are available.
Tatting can be accomplished in two ways, either with a tatting shuttle or with a tatting needle. Shuttle tatting does require a different hand/eye coordination skill than needle tatting does. But anything is possible and I am here to help you, every step of the way.
Many people watch as I tat, fascinated to see the shuttle moving within my fingers. I have heard many say "..that seems so tedious and too difficult, I would never be able to learn how to do that." Yes, you can. You can do anything you put your mind to do. I did. I knew I wanted to learn the magic of lace that I saw my Aunt Merc doing so many years ago. I locked myself in a room and did not give up until I had mastered the first double stitch. I was alone in my endeavor. I would like to be there to help you, so you are not alone. If you have always wanted to learn how to tat, because of the memories you have of watching a family member, please contact me.
These are one-on-one lessons which are $25 for the first hour and $10 for each additional hour after that.
Email support is also available after the first in-person lesson.
Cash and check accepted for lessons.
Lessons to learn quilling are not available at this time. However, questions about quilling basics are welcome and I will try my best to answer them.
If you are interested in learning more about these arts, please feel free to contact me.
